It all started with home education... After several years of home-educating my two daughters, Alyssa and Cassidy, we decided to start a blog each showcasing our passions! I love cooking for my family and finding out how to replace store-bought, often inferior products with simple and delicious homemade recipes.

When Alyssa began crocheting, it was a way for her to relieve stress from her time in mainstream school. It soon became not just a hobby but a passion. From amigurumi to household items, she loves to show others how satisfying and therapeutic crochet can be!

When Cassidy first tried to use the sewing machine she recieved as a gift from her grandmother, she little thought where her "experiments" woukd take her. While she enjoys sewing anything and everything, her first love will always be making vinage inspired creations!
